Namaste.

I just want to pause and take a moment for this word.

Namaste.

Chances are you have heard the word at yoga, in talks, through meditations.

I feel like I hear it all the time — so much so that I forget to think about what it really means.

A yoga teacher explained it to me as:

“The light in me sees the light in you.”

Such a beautiful sentiment.

All that is good, all that is pure, all that radiates positivity within me has found and sees the equal in you.

It's the opposite of superficial.

It’s deep. It sees what is within. And then filters it through a rosy lens of positivity.

You don't need to say it. But see it. Give your light and see the light that surrounds you.

Namaste.
